Love Will Make Us Right releases June 25th.  I can't begin to tell you how excited I am.  It'll only take you 40 minutes to listen to the entire record, but please know that over 2 years of extremely hard work went into that 40 minutes.  Tremendous amounts of work, care, conern, money, redos, undos, heart aches, joys, hopes, vision, checking myself at the door, honesty, sincerity, excitement, me!  I hope all these things show you I truly want this record to encourage and touch you and I can't wait for you to hear it from start to end.

It's always refreshing to get kicked in the gut with reality.  I'm not one to really complain and think of the "should haves" or "could haves" of my past, but it's nice to stumble upon little golden nuggets of truths.  Wishing things were different or wishing things away is such a disservice to one's self.  

I'm not too certain on how I found this statement, but I'm glad I did.  

I don't think that life is short. So I think you should stop saying that. 'Life is short, man.' No it's not! Life is excruciatingly long. Let me rephrase that. The life you got left is excruciatingly long. The life behind you, it's done. So yeah, life is short, but only when you turn around and look at it. But if you keep looking forward, you got a lot of years to think about. You gotta live your life like someday soon you're gonna hit some miserable Tuesday night that's just gonna seem to go on for days and days and days. Waiting for either some phone call to come that doesn't come or some phone call to stop that won't stop. Because as it's laid out in front of you seems to go on forever. But look back to when you were 4 and it seems like last Sunday. Listen carefully.  Don't put all your faith in money, beer, shopping for clothes, food, whatever.  I'm certain these things and any of the other cliche things you can think of to add to this list don't ultimately fulfill you.  If there's something missing, these things won't fill you up, so attempting for them to is, sorry to burst your bubble, wasting time. Get to the root of it all.  When you're honest with yourself, you'll realize what's missing. Faith and the relationship it creates is where all your eggs go.  I've been there.  I've experienced it.  With Easter coming up, it's only fitting I speak about it.  Don't ever put your faith and trust in things that are temporary and fleeting.  Be certain that true fulfillment comes from not material or an idea, but a Truth.  When you realize this, all the other things are way more fun any way.  Don't be swayed and lose sight of the ultimate prize. 

God is Love.
